根据中国互联网络信息中心(CNNIC)最新发布的第40次《中国互联网络发展状况统计报告》,截至2017年6月,中国网上外卖用户规模达到2.95亿户,较2016年底增加8678万户,增长率达到41.6%。其中,手机网上外卖用户规模达到2.74亿户,增长率为41.4%,使用比例达到37.9%,提升10个百分点。在行业进一步发展成熟、盈利水平较低的情况下,平台深耕现有业务与横向拓展成为必然选择。外卖业务上,各平台仍在投入巨额补贴以提高市场渗透率,同时也在继续推进精细化运营以提升用户体验,如为用户提供食品安全理赔保险服务、利用人工智能
