桐油是由桐树Aleurites Fordii的果实提出来的油,系一种不饱和酸的甘油酯。其成分含有饱和脂酸4%,油酸5%,亚麻油酸1%,桐油90%。其毒性较大,误食含0.3—0.5%的桐油时,即可引起急性胃肠炎的中毒症状。中毒后所发生的呕吐、腹泻等症状可将误食的大部分桐油排出体外,仅少部吸收。由于桐油广布于我国各地,如管理不当极易发生误食造成中毒事故,以往临床报告材料较少,我院最近曾发生一起289例纯桐油中毒事故,所表现的临床症状较为严重,经过积极抢救治疗,已全部治愈,现将其临床观察报告如下:
