自党的十一届三中金会以来,在上级党、政的正确领导下,我省森防工作取得了显著的进展。现全省11个地(市)都已建立森防检疫站,县(市)森防检疫站由1985年的18个,增加到1986年的84个。1986年全省共防治松毛虫面积134.4万亩、竹蝗16余万亩,控制其它病虫害10余万亩,使大灾之年未成灾。但当前森林病虫害防治工作中也还存在着一些薄弱环节亟待加强。
Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Party, under the correct leadership of the superior party and government, remarkable progress has been made in the prevention of desertification in our province. At present, 11 counties (cities) in the province have set up forest prevention and quarantine stations. The number of forest prevention and quarantine stations in counties (cities) increased from 18 in 1985 to 84 in 1986. In 1986, the province had a total area of 1.344 million mu for controlling pine caterpillars and more than 16 million mu of bamboo locusts, controlling more than 10 million mu of other pests and diseases so that the year of the major catastrophes would not be disastrous. However, there are still some weak links in the prevention and control of forest pests and diseases that need to be strengthened urgently.
