Earlier it became clear that in order to obtain and maintain a constant concentration of a drug in plasma, the more desirable infusion regimen was to administer a loading dose followed by an exponential decrease to an infusion capable of maintaining a steady state concentration. We recently designed a simple and easy way to get the needed infusion. Drugs from the vein after the blood flow distribution into the extravascular tissue, and then excreted. During the initial phase of infusion, most of the administered medication reaches the extravascular compartment with only a small amount excreted. With the push of time
