上橄榄核簇 (SOC)是与听信号传导有关的脑干听觉初级中枢 ,并参与双耳间声信号的加工和声音的空间定位 ,在听觉形成中起重要作用。SOC可分为内侧上橄榄核 (MSO )、外侧上橄榄核(L SO)、斜方体核 (NTB)和橄榄周核 (PON) ,各个亚核在细胞构筑、纤维联系、神经信息物质及在听觉中的作用等方面是不同的。SOC内神经信息物质包括乙酰胆碱及氨基酸类、神经肽类和胺类等 ,其中对神经肽类如 SP、ENK、CGRP、CCK等的研究已被许多学者所重视。SOC的基础研究可能会为临床神经耳科疾患特别是耳聋的诊治提供理论依据和重要线索
