在数字时代,社会相应地对图书馆的发展提出了更高的要求,图书馆需要建立更加科学的馆藏文献体系,具备利用各种先进的技术手段实现与读者实时的交互性沟通,更加方便有效地利用所掌握的文献信息资源和检索工具为读者检索、筛选、加工所需要的信息资源。通过更有效地服务于社会,使图书馆的地位得到进一步加强。
