一九四五年十一月,偽上海市教育局委派陳鶴琴先生為上海市立幼稚師範學校校長,兼辦附小及幼稚園,校址在愚園路四○四號,同年十二月二十四日開學,二十六日上課。中間曾由雷震清代理校長,陳先生因為大連市教育局長做不成,才又回到幼師。一九四七年二月改名為上海市立女子師範,除幼師外,增設普師科。女師總的宗旨是:「培養優良師資,實驗及進行「活教育」。(見「女師」校刊頁二) 陳先生從江西到上海後,對上海女師抱有很大希望,想把它作為實驗「活教育」的園地。既然女師是作為「活教育」的實驗園地,它在課程的編制上有什麼特點呢? 「女師」校刊上曾刊載著「活教育」課程編制
In November 1945, the pseudo-Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Education appointed Mr. Chen Heqin as the principal of the naive Normal School in Shanghai and concurrently attached small and kindergartens. The site was at No. 404 Yu Yuen Road and on December 24 of the same year School, on the 26th class.
