新平县漠沙镇是傣族傣雅人的主要聚居地,这里群山叠翠,气候宜人.距漠沙镇5公里处,哀牢山东麓、红河西岸,耸立着座座土林.这些被雨水冲刷后形成的泥土"雕塑",千姿百态,或为人、为兽、为楼、为瀑、为树、为花,而且往往组合成令人遐想的事象,你可以随形而命名,附会出许多想象的情节,虚构出许多美丽的故事.
