Since its discovery, nuclear materials have been a big step forward for angels to boost human civilization, but they have also brought destructive weapons like demons. In 1939, German scientists discovered the nuclear fission of uranium. In 1940, U.S. scientists used lanthanum to impinge on uranium-238 to synthesize plutonium. The nuclear fission was even more powerful. During the Second World War, uranium and thorium became hot to study nuclear weapons. Until today, nuclear weapons have gone through three generations of development: atomic bombs, hydrogen bombs, and neutron bombs.
