土壤是不可替代的资源。为了响应2015年国际土壤年号召,许多国家和在国际层面成果显著的多个区域举行了土壤伙伴关系研讨会,其目的是制定区域未来五年的可持续土壤管理计划.通过实施项目帮助各国开展能力建设,解决具体问题,提升土壤评估和监测的专业知识和技能,以及促进可持续土壤管理和恢复退化土壤,特别是在非洲和拉丁美洲组织了多次数字土壤制图培训班。目前在全球范围正在开展多项与土壤相关的活动,包括重要的国际会议、文化宣传展览和面向大众的教育活动;以及土壤和其他学科专家举办的技术会议。通过这些活动将土壤问题与更广泛的粮食安全和可持续发展议程联系起来。
Soil is an irreplaceable resource. In response to the International Year of Soils in 2015, many countries and many regions that have achieved significant results at the international level have held soil partnership seminars to develop sustainable regional soil stewardship plans for the next five years in the region. Capacity-building, problem-solving, enhancement of expertise and skills in soil assessment and monitoring, promotion of sustainable soil management and restoration of degraded soils, in particular several digital soil mapping workshops in Africa and Latin America. A number of soil-related activities are currently being implemented around the world, including important international conferences, cultural outreach exhibitions and mass-oriented educational activities; and technical sessions organized by soil and other subject matter experts. These activities link soil issues to the broader food security and sustainable development agenda.
