The latter expose the greedy vulgarity of an elegant and elegant British Lady. The London Embassy is arguably the sequel to The Consul’s File (1977), another collection of short stories by the author, the same individual and a U.S. diplomat. In the latter episode, diplomats were relocated from Southeast Asia to work in the U.S. embassy in London, England.
