计算机网络已成为信息时代的主旋律,特别是国际互联网和企业内部网的发展,将为人类社会带来深刻的变化。我们生活在网络中网络,顾名思义,是指一组呈网状的连线。我们每个人都生活在网络之中。比方说:中医将人体内气血运行通路称为经络,其实就是指体内的神经网络和血液循环网络;我们周围纵横交错、四通八达的道路,构成了城乡的交通网络;我们打电话时使用的电话线路,构成了本地的、全国的,乃至国际的通信网络;至于由输变电线路构成的供电网络,由自来水管线构成的供水网络等等,与我们的生活更是息息相关。用数据通信线路将多台计算机连接到一起,并配备相应的网络软件,就构成了计算机网络。
