通过仔细分析两年一次的“岳麓区小学教师学科知识竞赛”试卷及成绩,课题组发现,老师们对于基础知识与基本技能——特别是与小学数学紧密相关的部分掌握得非常好,但对于基本数学思想方法和数学史等方面的内容,掌握情况尚不令人满意.而这两方面对在更高水平上提高数学教师教学水平无疑是重要的.于是课题组认识到,这两方面正好是小学数学教师数学素养提升的重点领域,应该予以充分认识.为此,我们组织了基本数学思想方法及数学史方面的专题培训.
