我省的贻贝养殖于72年由省研究所小面积试养,76年开始大面积养殖生产,78年产量达到一千吨。目前由于销路不畅,养殖面积有所减少,今年为600多台。据省研究所调查,我省适合贻贝养殖的水面,仅秦皇岛和抚宁约有6万亩。继大面积养殖成功后的第二年就解决了当地的养殖苗种,为我省发展贻贝养殖提供了苗源。由于我省的海水养殖基础薄弱,养殖历史短,缺乏管理经验,开始又缺乏相应的规章制度,物资浪费现象严重,成本高,加之连年遭受自然灾害,损失严重,单位产量始终很低,最高是1976年平
Mussel farming in our province was piloted in a small area by the provincial institute for 72 years. Large-scale aquaculture production started in 1976 and the output reached 78,000 tons a year.
