《数学课程标准》明确提出:“加强估算,鼓励解决问题策略的多样化。”估算在日常生活与数学学习中有着十分广泛的应用,教师应结合教材,努力培养学生的估算意识和估算能力,促进学生良好思维品质的形成,使学生的思维具有敏捷性、准确性、广阔性和独创性。通过估算教学增强学生行为的计划性,加强学生数学的建模意识,让学生拥有良好的数感,提高分析问题,解决问题的能力,具有重要的价值。
