台湾省中山科学研究院现在正在进行三种型号的战术导弹研制工作,这些导弹全部采用自行研制的动力装置.1.短程空空导弹(AAM)以固体火箭发动机为动力.该导弹类似美国响尾蛇AIM-9L导弹,已于1986年5月18日进行了点火试验,用F-5E战斗机发射,成功地击中靶机.估计今年12月前完成此型号研制工作.中程空空导弹预计1989年7月完成.
