先秦思想家集大成者荀子,继承了孔子的礼学思想,建立了以礼为核心的政治伦理思想体系,他以“人性恶”的前提预设说明了礼产生的必要性。荀子的“性恶论”思想是基于对春秋战国时期尖锐社会矛盾和激烈阶级斗争的现实考察而得出的结论,具有一定的价值合理性:首先,揭示了战国时期的社会矛盾;其次,说明了改造人性的长期性;再次,设定了礼学思想的逻辑前提。
Xunzi, a great thinker in the pre-Qin period, inherited Confucian ideas of rituals and established a system of political ethics centered on rites. He preconcered the necessity of ritual production with the precondition of “evil humanity”. Xunzi’s theory of “theory of nature and evil” is based on the conclusion of the realistic investigation of sharp social conflicts and fierce class struggle during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. It has certain value rationality: first, it reveals the social conflicts in the Warring States period; secondly, , Illustrates the long-term nature of the transformation of human nature; again, set the logical premise of ritual thinking.
