在中国学界,罗兰.巴尔特常被看作大力提倡文本内部自涉性和零度写作的结构-后结构主义理论家。事实上,巴尔特一直有另一面,即以知识分子的批判立场来参与历史和文本建构。他的神话符号学融合意识形态批评和形式主义批评,揭示出在相似的语词结构之下所隐含的时代内涵,从而既有别于左派立场又不同于纯粹语言学。考察巴尔特的神话符号学,有助于我们全面理解他的复杂性,从“现代神话”的角度来观察大众文化现象。
In Chinese scholars, Roland Barthes is often seen as a post-structuralist theorist who strongly advocates intracontinental and zero-writing within the text. In fact, Barthes has always had the other side, that is, taking the critical position of the intellectuals to participate in the construction of history and text. His fusion of mythology and semiotics combined with ideological criticism and formalist criticism reveals the implicit connotation of the times under the similar structure of words and phrases, thus distinguishing himself from the left and the pure linguistics. Examining Barthes’ mythological semiotics helps us to fully understand his complexities and to observe mass cultural phenomena from the perspective of modern mythology.
