李一生于孔孟故里,儒家文化在耳濡目染中早以融入血脉,这似乎是不求而在的。在他的书法创作中,小楷便充分地表现了“中和”的审美指向。其小楷接源魏晋,旁参隋唐写经,点画工丽,风神散逸,于不激不历中溢出浓郁的书卷气。秀美流便的行书,朴厚酣畅的章草,秀逸工稳的小楷,构成了李一书法创作的三种形态。在这三种型态里,既反应了作者驾驭多种书体的艺术才能,又表现了文化作用于书的统一性。
