In the past, a great deal of work had been done on the Sinian sub-boundary of the western part of the Xiaoqinling Mountains, but no large-scale survey has been carried out. Therefore, the field data are not systematic enough, insufficiently studied and poorly studied. There are different understandings on stratigraphic division.
