未来学目前正处于一个关键的转折点。未来学要生存发展,就必须摆脱它现在把一切同未来有关的活动都包罗进来的倾向,以便在预测和计划范围内广泛地发挥独一无二的综合归纳作用。在今后10年内,未来学应优先考虑需求量最大的公共部门。并且,首先应当明确区分未来学的起规范作用的观点(用价值评议法)和起分析作用的观点。一个难以确定的定义对未来学而言,尚不存在一个被广泛接受的定义。随着时光变迁,人们先后对它下过若干种不同的定义。究竟应当从广义上解释未来学的“未来”
