苦丁茶是我国珍稀名贵的特产,由于长期依靠自然繁殖,几乎濒临灭绝的边缘。广东省大埔县大麻镇岌头村基干民兵黄小荣,历时8年,不畏艰难,刻苦研究苦丁茶的人工栽培技术,终于获得成功,为发展苦丁茶种植做出了贡献。据有关资料记载,岌头村是我国苦丁茶原产地之一。1980年,年仅17岁的黄小荣看到村里零星生长着近百株独具特色的茶树,心中燃起一束好奇的火花,决心为山区农民寻找一条致富的门路。他利用4年的农闲时间,走遍村里和附近几千亩山林,普查苦丁茶资源,观察
