In the last 15 to 20 years, the clinical engineering department has emerged and is developing in many countries. However, the clinical engineering department has not yet formed a fixed model. They differ in terms of service content, staffing, budget, and management structure. Even in the same country, the situation is the same. The difference in this area may be due to the lack of corresponding standards for the frequency and breadth of the equipment for regular inspection and maintenance in modern hospitals. The degree of staffing required to maintain the equipment is directly affected by the selected criteria. For this reason, a tendency is to try to determine the amount of work required to regulate the clinical engineering department.
