在新文化运动之前,“科研”这个词对于大部分中国人还是极陌生的。但是在西方,“科研”早已经成为人们的学术传统,因此当中东铁路带来了大批的学者,似乎就注定这片土地也会成为他们的“科研”对象。他们一踏上这片土地就深深的被它吸引了。因为这片土地陌生、宽广,似乎有许多值得研究开发的领域。 Before the New Culture Movement, the term “scientific research” was still very strange to most Chinese. However, in the West, “scientific research” has long become a people’s academic tradition. Therefore, when the Middle East Railway brought in a large number of scholars, it seems as if the land will become the object of their “scientific research.” As soon as they set out on this land, they were deeply attracted to it. Because this piece of land is strange and broad, there seem to be many areas that deserve research and development.
