由香港知名爱国人士包玉刚先生捐资兴建的宁波大学于86年11月26日举行开学典礼。国务院副总理万里专程前往参加并剪彩,新华社香港分社长许家屯也参加了开学典礼。名誉董事长包玉刚在典礼上致词。宁波大学现设外语、数学、物理、土木工程、机械工程、电子工程和计算机技术等八个系;今后还将进一步增设文理科系和研究院所。鉴于我国目前特别缺少经济管理、法律方面的人才,宁波大学将努力办好工商经济系和法律系。
The opening ceremony was held on November 26, 86 at Ningbo University, which was donated by Mr. Bao Yugang, a well-known patriotic person in Hong Kong. Vice Premier Wanli of the State Council made a special trip to attend and cut the ribbon. Xu Jiatun, president of the Xinhua News Agency Hong Kong Branch, also attended the opening ceremony. The honorary chairman Bao Yugang gave a speech at the ceremony. Ningbo University currently has eight departments including foreign language, mathematics, physics, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, and computer technology. In the future, there will be further liberal arts and science departments and research institutes. Given China’s current lack of talents in economic management and legal aspects, Ningbo University will strive to manage the Department of Business and Economics and the Department of Law.
