儿童喜爱民间童话与民间童话的语言魅力相关。这主要表现在：民间童话富于动态性的语言适应了儿童从动作演化出来的认知进程和游戏心理；易于情感体验的语言克服了儿童的认知局限与阅读障碍，让儿童直接进入文本传达的情感体验世界；亲情语言满足了儿童爱的渴望、愉快追求和社会建构的需要。
