芒果裝箱是相當重要的工作,因爲芒果從産地運送到市場過程,易受到外來的振動或外力的擠壓,使得芒果産生損傷,對於市場銷售會産生相當大的影響。爲了探討實際運輸振動與芒果損傷的關係,本硏究使用金頓公司生産之運輸型模擬振動試驗機,以一般振動掃瞄頻率模式進行,振動頻率以10-55-10Hz爲一循環周期進行掃頻,完成一周期所需時間爲一分鐘。芒果在裝箱過程中會在芒果與芒果之間加入隔振材料,如厚紙板、碎報紙及泡棉網套等,以減少在運輸過程中因振動而碰撞造成損傷,不同的隔振材料對於芒果損傷程度亦會不同^察芒果呼吸率的結果得知:以小保麗龍塊、網袋或保麗龍墊(即承盤)做爲芒果裝箱內的襯墊材料,會比傳統用報紙墊或碎報紙塡充于期間,減震的效果比較好;惟若要考慮到成本的問題,上述的理想材料是會比較高。
