紫胶是紫胶虫(Laccifer Iacca Kerr)的分泌物。紫胶虫属同翅目胶蚧科的热带、亚热带昆虫。在我国一年发生两个世代(称冬、夏代)。由于各代产胶性能不同,目前基本上是冬代做种、夏代生产。我国紫胶生产的气候指标,由原林科院紫胶研究所提出,着重指导紫胶虫越冬保种,发展新区种胶基地,对于夏代生产的气候内容提得较少。为了充分利用赣南自然气候资源,提高夏代紫胶产量,现就赣南紫胶夏代生产气候指标问题,作如下探讨。
