中美建交是一件历史性的大事,中国人民,中国文化界、戏剧界早已盼望着这件大事迅速到来,美国人民也是如此。中美两个民族是伟大的民族,两国人民希望互相团结起来,文化交流日益密切。
The establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States is a historic event. The Chinese people, the Chinese cultural circle and the theater community have long been looking forward to the speedy arrival of this event. So are the American people. The two peoples of China and the United States are great nations. The two peoples hope to unite with each other and the cultural exchanges are getting closer and closer.
