Modern application of high molecular weight aliphatic amines, especially uranium from sulfuric acid solution extraction, occupies an important position in nuclear fuel chemistry. Therefore, many studies have been conducted on the extraction of uranium from sulfuric acid solution using various amines. However, there is very little research on the extraction mechanism and there are contradictions between the results. In this area of research, K.A. AIIen studied the balance between trioctylamine and didecyl amine and sulfuric acid. On the basis of experiments, Allen believes that the reaction followed by sulfuric acid extraction at low acidity is: H 2 SO 4 +2 R 2 N = (R 3 NH) 2 SO 4 (R 3 N: trioctylamine).
