铜铬氧化物作为含羰基的醛、酮、脂肪酸及其酯等选择加氢为醇类的催化剂已有五十余年历史.这种催化剂是一种复合氧化物,因制备方法、预处理及使用条件不同,其构成也不同.最初Adkins等认为活性组分是亚铬酸铜(Copper chromite),后来又认为活性组分是CuO,而CuCr_2O_4只起载体和晶体间隔的助催化剂作用.仓石等在研究CO加氢为甲醇时认为CuCr_2O_4是有活性的,同时认为其Cu—Cr_2O_3结构也提供了一定的活性.另外有人认为这种催化剂在氢气氛下CuO被还原为Cu,少量Cr_2O_3被还原为
