我国燃煤电厂普遍面临煤质变化大、燃烧效率低、煤耗高的问题,正确评价煤质和预测煤粉燃尽性意义重大。依据电厂锅炉实际燃烧状况,基于工业分析和煤岩特征的两类燃尽性评价指数表明,工业分析中的挥发分、内在水和发热量,以及煤岩组成中镜质组、壳质组和部分惰质组等活性组分的含量对燃尽性的影响尤为重要,粒度有不容忽略的作用,据此构建起的燃尽性综合评价指数SI2与飞灰可燃物含量有很好的相关性。
