目的观察肿瘤患者及荷瘤小鼠放疗前后的体重变化。方法对63例肿瘤患者放疗前后的体重分别进行测量并与治疗疗程中位数时间间隔内的23例健康志愿者体重变化数据进行比较分析。另将45只成功接种人乳腺癌细胞SK-BR-3的裸鼠分为肿瘤部位接受照射及不照射的两组,分别在照射开始前和结束后进行体重测量并对体重变化数据进行分析。结果照射组小鼠体重变轻,而未照射组小鼠体重增加,两组小鼠体重变化各自均有统计学意义,两组小鼠的体重变化也存在显著的统计学差异。63例肿瘤患者及其中的鼻咽癌、食道癌及肺癌共四组患者平均体重都是减轻的但只有鼻咽癌、肺癌患者的体重减轻有显著的统计学意义。同一时间间隔内正常人的体重是保持的。四组患者中,除食道癌患者外,其余三组患者与正常人的体重变化数据比较均有显著差异。结论肿瘤患者放疗期间可能会体重减轻,应密切关注此变化对治疗的影响。
Objective To observe the changes of body weight of tumor patients and tumor-bearing mice before and after radiotherapy. Methods The body weight of 63 cancer patients before and after radiotherapy were measured and compared with the data of body weight of 23 healthy volunteers at the median interval of treatment. Another 45 nude mice successfully inoculated with human breast cancer cell line SK-BR-3 were divided into two groups, irradiated and non-irradiated. The body weight was measured before and after irradiation, and the weight change data were analyzed. Results The body weight of irradiated mice became lighter, but the body weight of non-irradiated mice increased. The weight changes of the two mice were statistically significant. There was also significant difference in body weight between the two groups. The average body weight of 63 patients with tumor, including nasopharyngeal carcinoma, esophageal cancer and lung cancer in four groups were all reduced, but only the weight loss of NPC patients and lung cancer patients was statistically significant. Normal person’s weight is maintained at the same time interval. Four groups of patients, except esophageal cancer patients, the other three groups of patients and normal body weight changes were significantly different data. Conclusion Cancer patients may lose weight during radiotherapy, and should pay close attention to the impact of this change on treatment.
