Australia is the only country in the world that owns a single continent because it is rich in wool and is also known as “a country riding on the back of a sheep.” By virtue of the geographical advantage of being surrounded by the sea, the situation in and around Australia has been relatively calm with only a few but elite armed forces remaining in its territory. Perhaps it is useless at home, perhaps to fully demonstrate its value in the international arena. For more than half a century, the Australian troops have frequently dispatched Blue Helmets to overseas countries and participated in 41 peacekeeping or peacekeeping missions in 48 countries and regions in the world. Humanitarian aid operations, which totaled 43,000 troops and 347 of them died, were hailed as “international peacekeepers.”
