《密室》系列、《轮回》系列是源自于周行童年所经历的“封闭”状态。长期以来周行对生活、制度、人性的阴暗面已经具备了一种习惯性的敏感。《密室》是一系列带有极其浓厚象征意味的绘画,以一贯的灰暗色调和情绪饱满的笔触创造出压抑、阴郁的场景。破旧的空间源自他童年时代对武汉租界老建筑的感受和想象,而老式的欧式椅子则意味着人的位置、存在。在不同的场景中,椅子的意味也大不相同——白色的椅子可能隐喻人纯真圣洁的灵魂;金色花纹的椅子隐约流露出奢侈的感觉,象征人类的 “Chamber of Secrets” series, “Reincarnation” series is derived from the “closed” state experienced by the week of childhood.
