全面建设小康社会的一个重要目标,就是人民享有更加充分民主权利、具有更高文明素质和精神价值追求。追求价值目标是人的能动性活动的本质特征,是人的活动区别于动物活动的一个根本标志。精神价值追求体现了人的高层次需求的满足,这种满足需要的层次越高,人脱离动物性就越远,人对自己本性的占有也就越充分。从主体角度来分,精神价值追求有个体、群体、民族三个层面;从精神价值追求的内在层次分,由低到高可划分为求利、求知、求德、求美四个层次。
An important goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects is that the people enjoy more democratic rights and enjoy higher civilizations and spiritual values. Pursuing the value goal is the essential characteristic of the human activity, which is a fundamental symbol that distinguishes human activities from the animal activities. The pursuit of spiritual value embodies the satisfaction of the high-level needs of human beings. The higher the level of such needs of satisfaction, the farther the human beings are from their animal nature and the fuller their possession of one’s own nature. From the subjective point of view, the pursuit of spiritual value has three levels: individual, group and nation. From the inner level of the spiritual value pursuit, from low to high, it can be divided into four levels: seeking benefit, seeking knowledge, seeking virtue and seeking beauty.
