香港之“居屋”,大体上相当于内地的经济适用房。前段时间,“居屋”的建筑档次越来越高,以致于一批立法会议员联署给房屋局局长黄星华发出一封公开信,提出“香港不要‘豪华居屋’”。由于署名的7位立法会议员均不属任何政党,但却有定期召开早餐会议共商政务的习惯,故被称为“早餐派”。 HOS in Hong Kong is roughly equivalent to affordable housing in the Mainland. Some time ago, HOS flats were built higher and higher so that a group of Legislative Council Members joined the Secretary for Housing, Mr Dominic Wong, in sending out an open letter stating “Hong Kong does not want ’luxury HOS.’” Since the seven members of the Legislative Council whose names are signed are not members of any political party, they have the habit of holding regular meetings of the breakfast business to discuss affairs of the government. They are therefore known as the “breakfast party.”
