Dear Sir or Madam，
Hello！ I’m Tang Qiong， a senior three student from Longhui No.2 senior high school in Shaoyang， Hunan province. I’m writing to share something about my interests and my dreams with you.
I come from the countryside， where a good English learning atmosphere is not provided for me. It was at my junior high school that I started to have a better understanding of a foreign language. My English teacher in junior school told me that English will be of great significance in the future， and I keep it in mind all the time.
In my senior high school life， with a deeper learning of English， I fall in love with it. What encourage me to make an English dream is the splendid feeling of speaking English out fluently， the urge to devoting myself to foreign language learning and the hope of making Chinese cultures better spread around the world. I know SISU is the place where I can realize my dream. I will head for it forever.
When it comes to how I spend my time on English， I would like to say that every minute you spend will be paid off only if you throw yourself into it. Interest is the best teacher.My interest is English， so it will occupy more of my time than other subjects. I recite English articles and practice my spoken English and listening every day， which helps me a lot. However， I think there is no special skills to study English well. The most important thing is to stick to it.
As to my planning for future， I dream of being a foreign language interpreter. It must be challenging but fascinating！ I also want to be an English listening master in College Entrance Examination one day， since I want my voice can be heard by millions of senior three students and give them power when they take the exam. It will be so lucky for me to do that.
I’m glad to learn some other foreign languages in college. I think they will be as interesting as English. Majoring in English， Russian， international politics or advertising is acceptable for me. I’m happy to challenge myself. Besides， I like travelling. Though I haven’t been to many places of interest， I know it can enrich my life and broaden my horizons. So it will be so beneficial for me to learn languages well. I will go all out for that.
English is my love， and SISU is my dream， which comes from my true heart. As an old saying goes， “He who doesn’t reach the Great Wall is not a true man.” I am determined to achieve my dream during my youth. I sincerely hope that you could give me the opportunity. And I would appreciate it if you could take my application into consideration.
