Objective To analyze the related factors of ocular trauma patients and discuss the effective nursing measures for the prevention and treatment of ocular trauma and improve the visual acuity after trauma and the morbidity of ocular trauma. Methods 84 cases of hospitalized traumatic eye injury in patients with gender, age, occupation, location of injury, traumatic nature, causes of injury, treatment time, complications and consequences of such factors as statistical analysis to explore the methods of ocular trauma prevention and its significance. The results of statistical results show: male: female = 5.12: 1, right eye: left eye = 1: 1.08, multiple age 10 to 40 years old, the peak age of 20 to 30 years old. Ocular trauma accounted for 20.87% of hospitalized patients in the same period, the age of injury to preschool children, students, young and middle-aged. Occupation of students, farmers, unemployed mainly. Injury sites more common in the workplace, family, public environment; injury mainly contusion, perforation injury; complications of the most common and more important are uveitis, cataracts, hyphema. There were 35 cases (41.34%) within 24 hours and 49 cases (58.66%) over 24h. The visual acuity of less than 0.05 in the uncorded eyes was 34.02% (40.02%), 3 eyes (3.06%) were enucleated, and the blindness rate was higher at the later time of the visit. Conclusion Ocular trauma is one of the main causes of blindness. From the analysis of the injured people and the nature of ocular trauma, we can see that ocular trauma is both preventable and preventable. For the related factors of ocular trauma, taking the integrated care of prevention, first aid and health education can raise the self-protection awareness of patients and reduce the incidence of ocular trauma and visual impairment.
