On December 22, 2014, the revised draft of the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law was submitted for consideration at the 12th meeting of the 12th NPC Standing Committee. Minister of Environmental Protection Zhou Shengxian commissioned by the State Council, made a presentation to the meeting on the revised draft air pollution control law. This is a comprehensive revision of the law since its inception in 1987.
