After nearly half a century of arduous negotiations, Brazil and Bolivia have finally built the longest natural gas pipeline in Latin America with a total investment of about 2 billion U.S. dollars. The two presidents held their opening ceremony in the northern section of the pipeline (Andean gas field in Bolivia to Brazil’s industrial center Campinas, a total length of 1970 km). The second stage (1180 km in length) will be completed by the end of October. The pipeline is 3150 km in length, from the city of Santa Cruz in Bolivia to the states of São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. Upon completion, it will supply 200 × 10 ~ 4 ~ 400 × 10 ~ 4m ~ 3 / d of natural gas to Sao Paulo and other Brazilian states. The second paragraph
