The results showed that the dry weight and the wet weight of each matrix in the 12 different formulations were significantly different. The rooting rate of cuttings and the height growth of cup-seedlings reached significant or very significant differences. The average dry weight and wet weight of the treated charcoal + yellow heart soil matrix with the volume ratio of 2:1 were the lightest, 40.9g and 52.1g, respectively.
