五四宪法是中国特色社会主义民主政治建设的奠基石,它肯定了中国共产党的历史贡献以及在中国民主政治中的领导地位,同时也表达了依法治国的美好愿望,承载了构建了中国特色社会主义民主政治的制度框架,在中国的宪政之路上迈出了重要的一步。更为重要的是,在中国特色社会主义道路的实践过程中,它为当前中国的民主政治建设提供了重要的借鉴,对推进当代具有中国特色的民主政治建具有重要的指导作用。
The May 4th Constitution, which laid the foundation stone for the construction of socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics, affirmed the CPC’s historical contributions and the leading position in China’s democratic politics and also expressed the good wishes of governing the country according to law and bearing the founding of socialism with Chinese characteristics The institutional framework of democratic politics has taken an important step toward the constitutional development of China.
