A Preliminary Study on Facial Rejuvenation by Taking the Acupoints of Meridian Channel as the Filling Reference for Injection

Abstract： In order to improve the effect of traditional injection based on anatomical theory and avoid overfilled injection， we have combined the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and focused on selecting acupoints to inject a very small dose of hyaluronic acid for facial rejuvenation. We report a case of a 41-year-old female， select acupoints on face of foot yangming Meridian channel， and inject 0.1-0.7 ml juvederm Ultra Plus on the left and right sides respectively.15 days after treatment， an improvement in facial color， spotting， reduction of edema， facial whiteness and translucency， and shrinking pores were observed. The grade of WSRS improved from Grade 3 to Grade 2. Therefore， the acupoint filler injection method based on the meridian theory may provide a new treatment method and idea for the treatment of facial rejuvenation in the future.

很多女性到了中年，發现面色不再红润，出现萎黄和暗沉，尤其是在眼眶周围和口周，说明气血循环及新陈代谢功能变差，此时患者常透过雷射除斑、音波射频、微整治疗等方式寻求改善，然而往往有效果不显和维持时间不长的问题，只求治标却无法治本是其中重要因素。
