山西隆起区断陷地震带是指南起渭河、灵宝、运城盆地,北至大同、蔚县、怀来盆地等一系列新生代断陷盆地控制的地震活动带。此带历史上是一个强烈的地震活动区,在新地质构造和地震活动及其相互联系等方面有许多共同的特点,是华北地区一个独特的构造地震带。自1967年至1970年我们在这一地区开展了地震地质工作。通过实践,对该带地震活动特点及今后地震活动趋势获得了以下初步的认识。
The fault zone of the uplift zone in Shanxi Province is a series of seismic belts controlled by a series of Cenozoic fault basins such as the Weihe River, Lingbao, Yuncheng Basins, Datong, Weixian and Huailai Basins to the north. This zone has historically been a strong seismic activity zone. It has many common features in new geological structures and seismic activities and their interrelationships and is a unique tectonic seismic zone in North China. From 1967 to 1970, we conducted seismic geology work in this area. Through practice, we get the following preliminary understanding of the characteristics of the seismic activity and the trend of seismic activity in the future.
