天(水)平(凉)铁路北接宝中铁路,可通过宝中、包兰铁路到达宁夏、内蒙古两省区,同时与建设中的西(安)平(凉)铁路、规划中的平凉至庆阳线相连;南接陇海铁路,可通过陇海、兰新、兰青、青藏铁路西至新疆、青海、西藏三省区;同时可南延至陇南,并与在建设中的兰渝线相接,从而通往四川、重庆两省市,是甘肃东部地区路网的重要组成部分。天平铁路位于甘肃省东部,穿越六盘山及其余脉关山,地势起伏多变,地形条件复杂。针对路网规划、功能定位、接轨和线路走向、地质选线、环保要求、地方经济发展等特点,提出复杂山区铁路选线的基本原则和研究思路,为山区铁路选线提供借鉴。

In view of the characteristics of road network planning, function orientation, alignment and line direction, geological alignment, environmental protection requirements and local economic development, the paper puts forward the basic principles and research ideas of railway alignment in complex mountainous areas, and provides references for mountain railway alignment.
