本文使用全国英语专业四级口试中的即席讲话为测试内容,通过对比全国大学生英语口语语料库,从时间指标、词块指标及语法指标等三个方面研究地方性高校大学生英语口语流利性现状。研究结果表明,与全国大学生相比,地方性高校学生的英语口语流利性还存在如下几个方面的差距:非流利性停顿较多,语速偏慢,多元词为主的词块使用缺乏多样性和灵活性,T单位正确率偏低。文章在分析这些差距原因的基础上提出了在教学上应采取的一些改进措施。
This article uses the impromptu speeches of Level 4 oral examinations in the national English major as the test content and studies the current situation of oral English proficiency of college students in three aspects: the time index, the block index and the grammatical index by comparing with the national college students’ spoken English corpus. The results show that, compared with the national college students, local college students fluent oral English there are still the following aspects of the gap: non-fluent pause, speech slow, multi-word-based use of the word block is not diverse Sex and flexibility, T unit low accuracy. Based on the analysis of the causes of these gaps, the article puts forward some improvement measures to be taken in teaching.
