社会主义国家的新闻工作与资本主义国家有本质的不同;这是由两种国家不同的性质所决定的。因此,在探讨“新闻自由”这个重大的课题时,我觉得我们更是应该用阶级分析的观点,科学地将二者分别看待,而不是混为一谈,或借此评彼。资本主义国家的“新闻自由”号称是“全民”的新闻自由,否认新闻自由的阶级性;但在实际操作中并非如此,这本身就构成了一个矛盾。但由于资本主义国家的统治阶级否认这一点,就使他们的“新闻自由”有了一定的隐蔽性和欺骗性。
News work in socialist countries is essentially different from that in capitalist countries; this is dictated by the different nature of the two countries. Therefore, when discussing the major issue of “freedom of the press,” I think it is more appropriate for us to take a class analysis point of view and scientifically separate the two rather than confound or comment on it. The “freedom of the press” of the capitalist countries is known as the freedom of the press for “all people” and the class nature of freedom of the press is denied. However, in practice, this is not the case. This in itself constitutes a contradiction. However, because the ruling classes in the capitalist countries denied this, they made their “freedom of the press” somewhat concealed and deceptive.
