The relationship between embB gene mutation and mycobacterium tuberculosis resistance to ethambutol was studied in order to establish a sensitive, specific, simple and rapid method for detecting the drug susceptibility to M.ethagoviride-resistant ethambutol genotypes. Using the standard strain of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv as a control, 10 7 clinical isolates were analyzed by 16S rDNA polymerase chain reaction (PCR) single strand conformation polymorphism (SS
