随着投影幕的尺寸越来越大,高端的影音发烧友都会注意到,当用16:9的投影幕观看2.35~2.40:1比例的电影时,屏幕上下方的黑边会显得非常大,对观看的负面影响是非常明显的。如果配合2.35:1的投影幕观看,用16:9的投影机直接投射后,会损失接近1/3的像素,非常浪费。于是,使用变形镜头搭配2.35:1宽荧幕就成为了最完善的解决方案之一。目前市场上的变形镜头主要有两种结构,一种是棱镜型,另一种是镜片组型。棱镜型镜头是通过一块或多块的棱镜组成的镜头,最大的优势是拥有非常大的光圈,能满足不同类型投影机的使用需求,亮度损失可以降到最低。而镜片组型镜头就是采用多块圆形透镜通过折射形成投射画面的变形,其突出的地方在于拥有优秀的成像质量,色彩鲜艳亮丽,但光圈相对较小,亮度损失较为明显。这里要介绍的Panamorph(潘拿摩)UH480就是棱镜型变形镜头中的代表作,除了亮度损失小之外,画质也保持在不俗的水平。
